Hello! I am Ukrainian artist Inna Kapitun and I invite you to immerse yourself in my own fairy-tale world created on canvas with oil paints. I gave it a title “In the fairy tale world of the mushrooms”.
The impetus for creating this series of oil paintings was my love for wild animals and nature in general. I wanted to create something unusual and a bit fabulous.
Why animals? They are cute and you always want to pet them. But I have a special passion for mushrooms. I really like to collect them and discover new species for myself. Agree, their diverse beauty is simply amazing.
By the way… And I probably depicted this passion on canvas…
All paintings are made on linen canvas with oil paints. I used a layered technique. I am fascinated by the magic of applying oil paints layer by layer.
My original oil painting series includes seven oil paintings. And each of them has its own little story. The size of the oil paintings is 50×40 cm or 20×16 inches.
